Project Monitoring 4

This week I finished all of my photo shoots, this meant I can now continue to make my pages in InDesign which I started this week. I measured all of my pages for the final piece using measurements from Kerrang! magazine, I edited the pictures of Joe for the DPS and filled in the other page with a background, I created the title for the article also on photo shop  I downloaded the font 'Crimes Times Six' for the title, this suits the article totally.

The photo shoot that I completed was for the 3PS Capture article, for the photo shoot  I had an issue with the models for my shoot, three of the members of 'Capture' didn't turn up leaving me with only one model, luckily I had the day to find a three contingency models, this was a success and I took some images. I decided to use a wide-angle lens for some of the photos, this gives the images a bigger feel to them, doing this meant I had to have the models really close together. I experimented with a number of poses for the band to do, the image below will be used as my front cover, I like this image because they are all in close proximity and their instruments are on show, I held the camera above the models and fairly close to the front model's face, you may not be able to tell because of the wide angle lens.

In the shoot, I took 161 photos of the models in total, this has given me a bigger choice of images when it comes to making the magazine, in total I will need to use around three of four images, but having that many gives me a better choice.
