Article Planning Sheet - 'Who The Hell are Capture?'

Article Planning Sheet
Plan the language use of the primary code of your article in the box below.

Article target audience:

Planning Comments
article genre
(purpose, type)
The article is an integrated interview, this is an interview that tells a story, I have chose to do it in this style because it is more interesting and can get the reader more engaged than a simple question and answer format. It is interviewing a band on their interests and general information on the band.
Narrative voice
(1st, 2nd or 3rd person)
I have decided to use the 1st person narrative for this article because I think that if I write the article from my own view then it will give the reader a knowledge of what happened exactly, if I changed the narrative voice then the readers would not get a first hand opinon on the interview and it would seem more fictional because it was not coming from my words.
Register
(informal/formal, colloquial, dialect, taboo words?)
I have chosen to go for an informal approach to my article writing style, this is because my mock ups were fairly formal and the target audience i presented the plans to did not like the formality and recommended that I changed it, I have chosen this also so I can write to fit the narrative voice, I find it easier writing from a first person view with an informal piece than a formal piece. Because of the magazines regional base, i may use some colloquial language, this is to suit the regional audience, I may end up using some taboo words if they are said within the article, because one of my secondary audiences are the readers parents, and the target age range of my primary audience starts rather low, I cannot use too explicit words, minimal taboo will be used and if used, not too foul.
Stylistics
(repetition, strong verbs, adjectives, alliteration, similes, metaphors, sentencing, rhythm)
My piece will use alliteration, this gives it a catchy edge that the readers can enjoy. I will use strong verbs in it to give it a feel of power and that the readers can enjoy it. The sentences in the article will be an average length, they will not be too long that they get boring, but they will not be too short, I have decided to possibly use a short sentence at the end to bring the article to a close with a short and snappy sentence.
Tone of address
(hectoring, sarcastic, ‘matey’, ironic, etc)
The tone of address will be rather friendly  because I am friends with the involved band, I can give the interview a friendly feel, and then when writing the article, I can make that also rather friendly. I think that a friendly style is good for an article because it makes the article easier to read and takes out the possibility of it being boring.
Structure and pace
(discourse structure, logical paragraphing, connectives, conclusion)
The paragraphing of the article will be rather easy to plan out, at the beginning I will have a paragraph with a brief introduction, basically introducing the band, then the next few paragraphs will be for the questions in the interview and a concluding paragraph to finish, there was no other way that I could plan out the paragraphs so i decided that this way would be suitable
